And here it is working. Note that the blue line is the signal generated by Shimmer. It's a sine wave but you can't really see it because it's too fast. That's why it's just a block. And the yellow thing is the sine wave after it has propagated through a long metal strip. So there you have it.

Shimmer works!!
So here it is at last. All my long nights in the lab and hard work have paid off. The system you see before you, otherwise known as SHiMmer (Structural Health Monitoring) is finally working!! Yup, that's it right there. That green board. It's being powered by power supplies right now but it will eventually be running just on solar panels and super capacitors.
